Antenna Experts has a complete product portfolio of high quality ADS-B Antenna (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast) Antennas including fiber glass omni-directional collinear antenna and directional sector coverage antenna. We manufactured ADS-B omni antenna with 6dBi omni gain, 9dBi omni gain and 12dBi omni gain. The ADS-B Series of ADS-B Antennas come in compact, rugged packages and offer superb ADS-B coverage. They can be used effectively with either a Multilateration ADS-B System or can be used in conjunction with an IFF or SSR Interrogator.

Our omnidirectional ADS-B Antennas offer full 360° coverage. Our single sector antennas are available in case you want to limit your coverage to a certain sector degree. Finally, our six sector antennas are available so you can still monitor 360° but be able to monitor the area 60° at a time or monitor all six sectors at the same time with different electronics. The benefit of our six sector antennas is that they allow you to distribute the processing over 6 processors and/or it allows you to track aircraft by monitoring response times to each sector.

The directional sector performance has been optimized by directing its energy where it is needed most. The result is improved Gain and a significant reduction in problems associated with uncontrolled ground reflections. The ADS-B Sector Antennas size to performance ratio is excellent. The Sector Antenna construction insures rigidity, durability and excellent weather resistance in a lightweight package.

ADS-B-1090 Line of Fiberglass Omni-directional Collinear Antenna is rugged all weather model uses high class brass and 6063T6 ultra corrosion resistant architectural anodized aluminum alloy and does not require any field tuning or adjustments. No ground plane is required to operate this antenna. The ADS-B-1090 series antenna is an Omni-directional narrowband, higher performance, collinear dipole type phased array designed specifically for use as a ADS-B ground station antenna.

All junctions of ADS-B antenna are fully welded to prevent RF inter-modulation and antenna is completely protected within a high-tech ruggedized fiber glass radome to ensure survivability in the worst environments. The design of antenna allows controlling friction induced static, which could be created by wind and dust. The compact size of fiber glass collinear antenna allows easy handling and shipping. Our omnidirectional ADS-B Line of Antennas offer full 360° coverage with various coverage.

The ADS-B-1090 line of antennas are center fed design which eliminates the distortion of the radiation pattern and ensures a true omni-directional horizontal pattern. The special stub matching is used for smooth VSWR and constant gain over the specified frequency band. The bandwidth of the ADS-B antenna is fairly narrow, which can help to eliminate inter-modulation problems from adjacent strong signals in urban areas.

The ADS-B series of omni collinear antenna consist of large diameter brass radiating elements stacked vertically, fed in phase and enclosed in fiber glass tube. The antenna termination is enclosed at bottom of the antenna for complete weather protection. ADS-B antenna is strong enough to withstand an ice storm, and will also do well in a shoreline environmental conditions. The marine grade type 316 stainless steel mounting hardware is supplied with the antenna.

The ADS-B-1090 series of ADS-B antennas are marine variant antennas and RF Transmission assembly is completely sealed and weather proofed to protect in harsh environments such as salt water, extreme humidity, wind, sand, snow and ice.

Antenna Experts Model # ADSY-1060-12 ADS-B Yagi antenna design reflects innovative modern antenna construction. The unique design of the yagi antenna feed which works as matching device to keep the VSWR low resulting in increased efficiency of the yagi antenna. The mounting hardware supplied facilitates mounting on either vertical or horizontal members. The yagi antenna comes in pre-assembled condition with permanently welded/fixed elements in the support boom. The small surface area on the yagi antenna minimizes wind resistance and conserves tower loading capacity.

Radiating elements of ADSY-1060-12 yagi antenna, supporting booms and adjoining metal castings of ADSY-1060-12 yagi antenna have been constructed in high quality 6063T6 aluminum alloys to prevent corrosion. The yagi antenna uses special feed which eliminates the use of folded dipole. The Yagi antenna is supplied with N termination fixed on the driven element. The feed point radiator is enclosed in a Nylon housing designed to protect against severe environmental conditions and minimize pattern distortion. This directional yagi antenna comes factory tuned and does not require any field adjustment. Antenna is supplied with Olive green color powder coating finish.

The ADSY-1060-12 Yagi antenna is completely protected within a high-tech ruggedized radome which is made of high strength fiber glass encosure to ensure survivability in the worst environments conditions. The heavy duty fiber glass enclosure has excellent transparency for RF signals and enough strength to withstand more than specified wind loads. Cylindrical enclosure is used for low wind loading and for minimal effect of ice formation on the high power broad band antenna operation as well as providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The antenna is supplied with olive green MIL color finish. Other customized housing/radome color can also be supplied on request.
