Antenna Experts have many years of experience in aviation band antenna field and are able to offer array systems to suit any type of requirements. Our AY and AQY series HIGH GAIN aviation band array systems are highly suitable as base station antennas for ATC sites where extended communication range is required to cover the particular sector of Flight Information Region (FIR) like narrow but long strip with wider elevation beam-width or Oceanic Information Region (OIC) of a bay/gulf with wider azimuth beam-width to control the inbound and outbound Oceanic traffic. Apart from this we are expertise to design and supply the systems with many configurations to control the beam-width in desired plane.
Antenna Experts manufactures air traffic controller antenna for civil aviation ATC band 117.975-137 MHz and military ATC air band 225-400 MHz with various gain for directional and omni-directional properties. Antenna Experts also manufactures extended range ATC air band array system to control the vertical and horizontal beamwidth in desired plane as per the customer specific requirements. Apart from the list appeared in the “Aviation Band Antenna” section of our website we are expertise to design and supply the ATC antennas systems with many configurations to control the beam-width in desired plane.
WD series aeronautical band discone antennas are heavy duty fully welded discone antennas, specially designed to survive the most extreme conditions, where conventional antennas often fail. The wide vertical beam-width of ATC discone antennas allows clear communication for ground, sea, and ground-to-air applications. The fully welded aviation band discone antenna is highly suitable for Oceanic application especially in arctic region where vibration and ice loading are main concern.
The WD series aviation antennas are fully welded wide band discone antenna uses 6063T6 Mil grade ultra corrosion resistant architectural anodized aluminum alloy with powder coating finish to protect the antenna further from severe environmental condition. All internal junctions of aero band antennas are enclosed within a ruggedized radome to ensure survivability in the worst environments. The powder coating on all metal surfaces ensures complete protection from corrosive gases, ultraviolet radiation, salt spray, acid rain and sand storms in desert environments.
Our CD series air band antennas are coaxial dipole antenna with broadband features. All CD series coaxial dipole aviation band antennas are sealed in fiber glass housing to protect the antennas from severe environmental condition. The AC series aviation band antennas are light weight, quick deployable and broad bandwidth antennas which are specially designed to avoid the use of multiple antennas and supplied with bird resistant cap. Cylindrical enclosure is used for low wind loading and for minimal effect of ice formation on the CD and AC series broadband aviation band antennas operation as well as providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance. Due to sturdy design the broadband Ground Plane antennas are highly suitable for fixed station application, shipboard mounting and mobile application.
Our AC5 series of wide band fiberglass collinear aero band antennas are high gain aviation band antennas, consisting of large diameter radiating elements stacked vertically and enclosed in fiber glass tube. The special “Choke and Spark Gap” technique is used for smooth VSWR and constant 5dBi. gain over the entire 117.975-137 MHz. frequency band (model AC5-127) for VHF air band and 225-400MHz for UHF air band (model # AC5-312). The fiberglass enclosure has excellent transparency for RF signals and enough strength to withstand specified wind loads. The stainless steel mounting hardware and bird resistant cap is supplied with the antenna.
The SD series VHF/UHF ATC aviation or aero band antennas are manufactured using high-grade anodized aluminum alloy. Powder coating of the complete aviation band dual dipole antenna provides extra protection against corrosion in saline weather present in coastal areas. All SD, CD and AC series VHF/UHF ATC antennas features, wide bandwidth, high gain, high power handling capacity, low VSWR, low noise performance, high vertical bandwidth and null filling coverage with omni-directional characteristics. All aviation band antennas supplied with marine grade stainless steel mounting hardware.
The SD9-128 ultra high performance VHF aviation band stacked dipole array is designed for use with highly populated radio sites requiring long haul omni-directional coverage. The SD9-128 is heavy duty aero band stacked dipole array features, wide bandwidth, high gain, high power handling capacity, low VSWR, low noise performance and null filling coverage with omni-directional characteristics. This stacked dipole array maintains constant ( 9dBd Omni or 12dBd offset ) gain and VSWR over its 20 MHz bandwidth, making it highly suitable as base station antennas for ATC sites and any other multi-channel communication systems. The radiation pattern can be changed in the field by use of common hand tools.
